The Georgian House – Life Above and Below Stairs

Join us and Dr Sheonagh Martin, Visitor Services Manager at The Georgian House to discover more about this fascinating Edinburgh landmark. The talk will take place at 7.45pm in St Andrew Blackadder Chapel area.

The Georgian House is an 18th-century townhouse situated at 7 Charlotte Square in the heart of the historic New Town of the city of Edinburgh. Designed by Robert Adam at the height of his career and furnished with an exquisite collection of period furniture, porcelain and silver, the Georgian House provides a fascinating insight into fashionable society life in 18th and 19th-century Scotland. It has been restored and furnished by the National Trust for Scotland, and is operated as a popular tourist attraction.

Our AGM will take place at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm), before the talk in St Andrew Blackadder Sanctuary (upstairs with a lift available).
